If y’all are like me, you’ve probably been a member at a gym or two over the years. I’m here to tell y’all, I have never had a better hour-long workout than at Orangetheory.

The holidays are synonymous with yummy casseroles & treats, so I have teamed up with Orangetheory to beat the slump!

At Orangetheory, the team’s goal is to make sure that anyone who tries their workout feels successful. I’ve only taken a handful of classes and I already feel great.

One of the main differences I’ve experienced between Orangetheory & other gyms: motivation! Each workout is different & every coach makes sure everyone is pushed to their fullest extent.

Each time when you come to an Orangetheory class, you wear a heart rate monitor. I have the OT Beat Burn and wear it on my arm. Everyone’s heart rate monitor “talks” with the TV screens inside the studio & names are listed in alphabetical order.

Don’t think of seeing everyone’s stats on the screen as a competition with other members of the class…think of it as a competition with yourself.

Y’all, all of this just scrapes the surface, and I’m just getting started at Orangetheory! There is a science behind the workout, and why we do what we do when we enter the classroom. What may be most important though, having a good sweat.
