Momma's Hash Brown Casserole

Good Food = Good Mood
Y’all, Thanksgiving is just around the corner, so that means all the yummy food! My momma is the best cook I know & I only hope to one day be as good as she is…but y’all, that’s going to take some work!
Whenever I’m going to a potluck or hosting a party and need something yummy to make, I turn to the cookbook Momma made me. Y’all. I will cherish this forever!
A holiday favorite for me is Momma’s Hash Brown Casserole. It’s a staple for Thanksgiving & Christmas, and is so easy to make.

Recipe:
Ingredients:
2 lbs. frozen hash browns - thawed
1 can of cream of chicken soup
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 pint sour cream
1 stack of Ritz crackers - crushed (We usually use 2 stacks of crackers)
1 stick of butter (We usually use 2)
Instructions:
*Preheat oven to 350°.
*Mix soup, sour cream, cheese & thawed hash browns.
*Put mixture in 9x13 greased baking dish.
*Mix crushed crackers & butter. Place on top.
If you have kiddos, this is a very fun step. Our tradition is to put the crackers into a plastic bag, then crush them.
*Bake 1 hr. 15 min.
