Meet Megan, owner of Daisy Jane’s Flower Truck. Megan is a former news gal I worked with, now living her dream owning a flower truck!
There’s something about flowers y’all…the spark joy & make people happy!
Megan tells the story of dreaming up a flower truck eloquently on her Facebook page. After spending years with an alarm going off at 2:30 in the morning and missing time with her husband and son, she knew she needed a change. In news, we cover a lot of stories that are some of the worst days of someone’s life. Stories that break your your heart day after day. That’s when she took a chance, and followed her dream- her dream to own her own business & help others find joy.
Now, Megan says she was inspired by this photo, that I posted on July 31, 2018, when Hubby & I visited Amelia’s Flower Truck in Nashville, but I think she had the idea in her the whole time…and honestly, I’m inspired by her!
With the help of her Uncle Bob, Megan went to pick up this little red truck, now known as Daisy Jane. She is a 1965 poppy red “Spring Special” Ford E100. After sprucing her up, Daisy Jane was ready to spread joy.
Megan & Daisy Jane travel around Cincinnati with beautiful flowers in tow. I’m sure it’s been hard & she’s been working harder than ever before, but it’s amazing!
