This weekend I had such a fun opportunity, y’all! I joined some amazing local bloggers for snacks & creativity.
Sarah of Space, Place & Southern Grace brought together two local businesses for a wonderful afternoon. Alex at Alexandra Pallos Floral & Events hosted us for a floral arranging workshop. And…what is an afternoon with some of your fave gals without some snacks? Introducing Fete Boards!
Y’all, the team at Fete Boards are magicians! Their charcuterie boards are truly works of art. We were treated to two different boards yesterday, each with their own vibe filled with yummy, scrumptious treats. Alex paired the afternoon snacks with mimosas, making it a true party.
After having snacks & catching up with blogger friends, Alex got our creative juices flowing.

We each found a fun container to build a flower arrangement in. Alex did the hard work for us; she picked out gorgeous blooms & readied our containers to build our creations. After a quick tutorial, we got to work.
It was so fun to see everyone’s creations blossom. For me, I took a whimsical & rustic approach, because I wanted it to match the current decor in our home. I used greenery at the bottom of my dish, as well as around the edges. Then, I picked out some white & baby pink flowers to keep a soft look. I finished off my creation by adding some live moss around the edges, so to not see the foam foundation inside the container. I absolutely love my arrangement! It makes me so happy to see it light up my the center of our kitchen table.
As we put together our arrangements, Alex came around to help & give advice. She was such a wonderful host & teacher. Get this y’all, she also offers classes & party opportunities!
