All You Need Is Love & Christmas Cookies
Have you ever wanted to decorate cookies like the pros? Me too!
The team at our local Williams Sonoma at The Summit at Fritz Farm did just that!
A couple of my fave gal pals & I gave it a try, and it did not disappoint! The team at Williams Sonoma pulled out all the stops. We didn’t just bake cookies, we helped to make them too!
There were two stations: baking & decorating. Our trio started out a the baking station.
Amateur bakers, at best, each of us listened to the team as they gave us tips on how to roll out the dough, what thickness works best & how to get a clean cut with your cookie cutter. From trees to stars, angels, snowmen and snowflakes, we had so many cookie cutters to choose from.
After spending some time there, we headed across the store to the decorating station, where we found all sorts of supplies to decorate our cookies. There were sprinkles, icing and even tiny decorative shapes to make the cookie extra special.
To finish, Williams Sonoma had gift bags to wrap our cookies in, along with beautiful ribbon to tie them off. It was a perfect night to make a gift, but let’s face it y’all, those cookies never made it to being a gift.
I love events like this! It allows us to be able to learn something new & have fun! I love that The Summit at Fritz Farm hosts fun events like this to broaden our horizons & sense of community. What a fun Christmas treat, y’all!
