Happy Fall Y’all!

Y’all, it’s been fall for almost a week now, and it’s been almost 90° every day since! Some people might say “Bless your heart,” it’s too hot to go out to a pumpkin patch…You know what, I refuse to accept it. Let it be fall- all the fall decor, activities and much more!

One of my favorite fall activities is going to the pumpkin patch. This weekend, one of my favorite gal pals and I did just that; we went to Eckert’s Orchard. It was an absolutely beautiful Saturday!

We were on a mission! We started by taking a tractor ride out to the patch, then got ready to find our perfect pumpkins!

Kentucky is in a drought, so everything is incredibly dry. While the pumpkin patch was dusty and dry, Eckert’s had some beautiful choices.

After finding some great options and getting super sweaty, we headed back to the country store. Eckert’s truly has an activity for everyone! There’s a playground for kids, apple picking, award-winning pumpkins, famous apple cider, a café and much more!

I had a Kentucky favorite, Ale-8-One and my gal pal had one of Eckert’s famous Apple Cider slushes. Each were delicious!
