Make A Wish Weekend of Wishes

Make a Wish. Give it Wings. Let it Fly.

Y’all, we have an incredible chance this weekend! We can make a difference in the life of children battling critical illnesses, and it’s really easy!

We’re only days away from the second annual Weekend of Wishes, says of dining, entertainment and shopping to benefit Make-A-Wish.

Did you know that Make-A-Wish is not a last wish organization? In fact, most wish kids go on to beat their illnesses and live typical, healthy lives.

At a kickoff event this week, Carlie & her mom told us her story. After a lifetime of battling a genetic disorder, her outlook on life was bleak. After her wish to go to Hawaii was granted, her parents say everything changed! Y’all, according to a national wish impact study, wishes give children renewed energy & strength to fight their illness.

So, how do we help?

We can help this weekend by just shopping & eating…something we would already do! By just shopping & eating at participating local businesses, we can help make more wishes come true!

So, join me in checking off those names on your Christmas list this weekend to make a difference. There are nearly 400 Kentucky kids waiting for their wishes right now…let’s make a difference in the life of just one.
