Some people ask why…Because I want to share my love for living life with my best friend & love of my life, the beauty of the Bluegrass & all it has to offer and my love of fashion!
About Me
My name is Sydney DeLong, and I am a 27 year old wifey to my college sweetheart, dog mommy, Executive News Producer & all-things Kentucky lover.
The Name
Over three years ago, I was planning our wedding, and someone asked me what theme I had in mind. After some thought, I said “Southern Charm Prep.” Why? Because, I was born & raised right here in Lexington, Kentucky, and live a charming & preppy life. The name explains my lifestyle & who I am.
As a Lexington native, I grew up loving Kentucky and all it has to offer. I’ve spent months, even years thinking about launching a blog. The thoughts swirled around my head— will anyone read it? What will I write about? …And finally, I made the decision. I enjoy writing, being creative & love to share about my old Kentucky home.
